Timberbrook does roofing as a standalone service in central Iowa. You don't need a larger renovation project to work with us. We handle full roof replacements, storm damage repairs, and targeted leak fixes. We'll recommend materials based on your roof's pitch, your home's style, and what actually makes sense for Iowa weather, not just what's cheapest or fastest. Every roofing job gets a written estimate before any work starts, and we're available throughout the project if questions come up.
Timberbrook installs and replaces siding on homes in central Iowa, as a standalone project or as part of a larger renovation. We work with a range of materials and will help you pick what makes sense for your home's style, your climate exposure, and your budget. Good siding installation is as much about what's behind the siding as the product itself. We don't skip the building wrap, flashing, or trim details that make the difference between siding that lasts and siding that causes problems. Reach out for a free quote.
Timberbrook does concrete work in central Iowa: new pours and repairs, for both functional and decorative applications. For new work, we handle driveways, sidewalks, patios, foundations, garage slabs, steps, and stamped or decorative concrete. We pour and finish to grade, accounting for Iowa's freeze-thaw cycles, which are hard on concrete that isn't properly prepared and reinforced from the start.
For repairs, we assess what's causing the problem before recommending a fix, whether that's crack injection, slab lifting, partial replacement, or a full repour. Surface-only fixes on structurally compromised concrete don't last, and we won't recommend one just to close a job quickly.
All concrete work is quoted on-site after we look at the scope. If it's a new pour, we'll talk through drainage, base prep, and finish options before anything gets scheduled.
Timberbrook builds, repairs, and refinishes decks in central Iowa. For new builds, we design around how you plan to use the space, whether that's a simple back deck, a multi-level structure, a covered area, or something with built-in seating and stairs. We work with pressure-treated lumber, composite decking, and hardwood and will walk you through the tradeoffs before anything gets built.
For repairs, we assess the full structure before recommending what needs replacing versus what can be saved. Rotting boards, unstable posts, failing railings, and deteriorating ledger connections are all things we handle. We don't patch cosmetic problems while ignoring structural ones.
For refinishing, we strip old stain or paint, sand to bare wood, and apply a fresh finish that holds up to Iowa's freeze-thaw cycles and UV exposure. We'll tell you honestly whether refinishing makes sense or whether repair or replacement is the better call first.
Beyond decks, Timberbrook also builds exterior structures: pergolas, porches, covered patios, and other framed outdoor additions that extend how you use your home's outdoor space. Whether you want an attached front porch, a detached backyard pergola, a screened structure, or a covered entertaining area, we build it to match your home's existing style and hold up to Iowa weather year-round. We work through the structural and material decisions with you upfront, and handle permitting as part of the project.
All deck and exterior structure work starts with a site visit and a written estimate.
Timberbrook builds custom garages in central Iowa, from simple single-stall structures to large detached shops with finished interiors. We build to match your home's existing exterior so the garage looks like it belongs, not like it was added later. We can incorporate storage, workshop space, insulation, HVAC rough-in, and anything else you need the space to do. Garage builds are quoted on-site after we understand the scope. Timberbrook takes on carpentry and trim projects in central Iowa where quality and precision matter. This includes structural framing, subfloor repairs, custom shelving and built-ins, door and window rough-ins, and other wood-framed work that goes beyond basic handyman repairs. We're selective about what we take on to keep our schedule manageable. If it's something we can't help with, we'll point you to someone who can.
Trim is what separates a finished home from a polished one. We install interior and exterior trim: baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings, wainscoting, exterior fascia and soffit, and custom millwork. Clean cuts, tight joints, and proper priming and painting prep are non-negotiable on our jobs. Trim work is typically handled as part of a larger build or remodel, but we take on standalone trim projects depending on our schedule.
Carpentry and trim jobs are quoted on a project basis after a site visit or conversation about scope.
Timberbrook does residential remodels in central Iowa: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, exterior updates, and whole-home renovations. Remodel projects are some of the most complex work we do because they require understanding an existing structure before changing it. We spend time upfront figuring out what's actually there before committing to a scope, which means fewer surprises mid-project for you. We don't take on more remodel work than we can manage at once, so our availability varies. Reach out early if you're planning ahead.
Timberbrook builds home additions in central Iowa that are designed to match and complement your existing structure. Whether you need an extra bedroom, a larger kitchen, a sunroom, or a full second story, we approach additions the same way we approach new builds: careful planning upfront and quality construction throughout. We'll walk the property with you, understand how you use your space, and build something that feels intentional, not like an afterthought. Additions are priced by project after a site visit and written estimate.
Timberbrook builds fully custom homes in central Iowa, from initial design through move-in day. Every home we build is designed around the people living in it, not a standard floor plan pulled from a catalog. We start with design visualization so you can see what we're building before we break ground, then manage the full construction process with clear communication throughout. Tyler has 15 years of field experience and is on every job personally. We take on a limited number of builds each year so we can do each one well.
I am extremely happy with my deck floor. It looks really amazing. They really care about the work they do and Tyler is very honest about what does and doesn’t need to be done.
We are very happy we went with Timberbrook Builders for our kitchen project! Alicia did a great job addressing the problem areas and coming up with different designs/layouts for our kitchen. Tyler and crew made it happen. As with any project there were a few hiccups, but they were able to work around the issues and come up with great alternative options that we were very happy with! They were very responsive and easy to communicate with, and eased any concerns we thought we had. They were conscious about working with and sticking to our budget, and thanks to them, we got our dream kitchen!
Exceptional skill sets and professional, friendly personnel! Highly recommend for any new builds or remodeling projects!
Working with Timberbrook has been a great experience. They have been working on a 650+ square foot two story addition and renovation to my 1910 home. As with any work on a home that age and a project that size it hasn't been without its surprises. Timberbrook communicates changes and progress in a timely manner. The quality of their build is top notch. I've had friends in the construction industry stop by and comment on the foundation and frame work, then again on the finished work. They did a great job ensuring the exterior matched the 100+ year old aesthetic of the house. The co-owner and designer has helped us put together vision boards and 3-d mock ups of the spaces so we could make design decision. The lead builder, Tyler, has been open to feedback and minor changes to plans and finishes along the way. I would highly recommend Timberbrook for just about anything. Before going with Timberbrook we had one other company, very reputable, that we got a quote from -Timberbrook was a MUCH better (lower) estimate and we've stayed well within their bid. Their subs (they don't use many) are really great too. Magic Electric with Angus -highly recommend.
